Library policies

Circulation rules used by NewLMS when the workflows issue, renew and return books and run the daily overdue computation. Changes apply from the next transaction; existing loans keep the due date they were given.

Circulation rules by member type

These are workflow rules, edited in the workflow engine's designer (Library Management System project) rather than here.

Borrowing blocked by dues — rule set “No blocking dues” (unpaid fines limit, overdue books).
Books per member — each member's borrow limit on their member record.
Procurement thresholds — “Procurement route (GFR 2017)” decision in the Book Acquisition workflow.
